Are dermal filler treatments painful?

Most clients experience only slight discomfort during treatment. Every client is different and certain areas can be more uncomfortable, and pain management is discussed in detail at your consultation.  Numbing cream will be offered, and many dermal fillers contain a numbing agent to reduce discomfort
 

Is there any downtime after dermal filler treatment?

There may be some swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising following treatment. These effects are usually temporary and settle within a few days. You may be advised to avoid excessive heat, strenuous exercise, alcohol, and makeup for the first 24 hours after treatment to help reduce swelling and bruising.
 

When will I see results?

Results are visible immediately after treatment, although the final result is usually seen once any swelling has settled.

Are Dermal Fillers safe?
As with any injectable treatment, dermal fillers carry potential risks and side effects. Common side effects include bruising, swelling, redness, small lumps, Less common side effects include infection, allergic reaction and vascular occlusion (blocked blood vessel). These risks and onwards management will be discussed in detail at consultation.
